Job Summary
Lead Boeing’s Array Electronics Engineering Group in the Space Electronics RF Engineering Department, overseeing RF Array Electronics design and verification. Responsible for executing departmental plans, shaping technical strategies, acquiring resources, managing suppliers, leading process improvements, developing and mentoring individual contributors, and guiding career development toward leadership roles. Travel at least 10% of the time and work 100% onsite in El Segundo, CA. Must have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and at least 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams for satellite programs and 10+ years in RF electronics, RF/Microwave test, and phased array electronics. Preferred advanced technical degree; experience in defense/aerospace and process enforcement is desirable. Requires U.S. citizenship or U.S. Person for export control; Top Secret/SCI security clearance may be required; relocation assistance is not negotiable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams for commercial or government satellite programs
- 10+ years of experience in the field of RF electronics, RF/Microwave test, and phased array electronics
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced technical degree in engineering, mathematics, or physics (ABET accreditation preferred)
- Experience in defense or aerospace industry
- Experience developing and enforcing engineering processes
- Conflict of Interest screening
