Job Summary
Pediatric Cardiac Services ARNP delivers direct patient care across ambulatory clinics, the cardiac cath lab, and inpatient units, including diagnosing illness, developing and managing treatment plans, and prescribing medications. Works independently or as part of the health care team to provide comprehensive clinical care for pediatric cardiac surgery and cardiology patients, orders and interprets diagnostic studies, collaborates with attending physicians and nurses, contributes to quality improvement initiatives, and supports education and research involving patients and families.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing with a concentration in a pediatric or family nurse practitioner program
- One year work experience in a pediatric or family focused clinical area
- Active, unencumbered RN and ARNP licensure in the State of Washington (Nurse Practitioners)
- Current certification as a pediatric or family nurse practitioner
- Active Drug Enforcement Authority (DEA) registration
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
