Job Summary
Caregivers provide non-medical home care to individuals with developmental disabilities and autism in clients’ homes. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, dressing, grooming, bathing, light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, medication reminders, and respite care. The role involves collaboration with clients and families, maintaining a healthy living environment, and ensuring dignity and comfort. Requirements include CA HCA registration, legal work authorization, FBI/DOJ background clearance, TB clearance, weekend availability, and First Aid/CPR certification. Locations primarily in Los Angeles area (Glendale, Burbank, Hollywood, North Hollywood, Northridge, Pasadena, Covina, Monrovia, Gardena, Los Angeles, Altadena). Required Qualifications
- Must have HCA registration with the State of California (we can help you obtain)
- Must have legal authorization to work in the US and be at least 18 years of age
- Complete a Criminal Background Check (clearance from FBI and DOJ)
- TB Clearance
- Must be able to work some weekends
- First Aid/CPR certificate
