Job Summary
Provide professional interpreting services in healthcare, legal, and community settings across Los Angeles, CA. Deliver accurate, complete, and clear oral interpretation between Armenian and English while maintaining high fidelity to original communication. Work effectively with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, meeting the needs of medical professionals, patients, government agencies, and internal stakeholders. Maintain a valid California license and obtain required medical clearances and background checks as necessary. Required Qualifications
- Fluency in both Armenian and English
- Must reside in Los Angeles, CA
- Demonstrated experience providing accurate, complete, and clear interpretation in medical, legal, and community settings, with the highest level of fidelity to the original communication
- Strong ability to interpret orally between Armenian and English in both directions
- Proven ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
- Skilled in meeting the communication needs of medical professionals, patients, government agencies, community organizations, and internal stakeholders
- Combination of formal interpreter training and/or relevant professional experience
- Willingness to obtain required medical clearances, including vaccination/immunization records and background checks, as necessary
- Possession of a valid California license
