Job Summary
PM Vault Custodian responsible for maintaining inventory in cash vaults for Loomis customers. Performs counting of deposits and change shipments, verifies numbers against receipts/manifests, loads/unloads bags and boxes of currency and coin, sorts cargo items by route, communicates with coworkers and customers, and records counts and balances. Requires ability to lift ~50 lbs repeatedly, walk and stand for long periods, sign and record numbers by hand, and meet firearms license requirements. Full-time position based in Nashville, TN with in-person work.
Required Qualifications
- A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms requirements may be required
- Lift: 25lbs vertical lift from 10 inches to 66 inches from the floor
- Lift-Carry: 18lbs vertical lift from 1 inch to 44 inches from the floor and horizontally transfer 15ft (4X)
- Push-Pull: 47lbs of force on a sled for 1ft
- Repetitive Coupling: Squeeze Jamar Hand Dynamometer forces up to 30lbs
- Ability to sign and record numbers by hand and to make entries on records and prepare reports
- Ability to count, add, subtract and balance columns of numbers
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with co-workers and customers
- Standing/walking requirements: stand on concrete floor ~80% of shift
- Ability to maintain stooped or squatting position for sorting function
- Readiness to meet state handgun license/permit or Security Officer Commission requirements
