Job Summary
Conduct routine armed patrols of facilities, grounds, restricted areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control issues, and critical situations while following established reporting and escalation procedures. Monitor access points, verify credentials, and control entry and exit in accordance with site-specific requirements. Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities. Prepare clear reports of patrols, incidents, and observations for site leadership. Requires a TSA TWIC, armed guard license, and at least six months of security experience. Full-time day shift in San Diego with $25/hour pay.
Required Qualifications
- At least 6 months of security-related experience
- TSA-issued TWIC
- Armed guard card/license
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Valid driver's license
