Job Summary
Monitor access points, screen authorized entry, and verify credentials while maintaining accurate visitor and incident documentation. Respond professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations by contacting site contacts and emergency services as required. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns. Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government services location by carrying out site-specific policies and emergency response activities. Maintain a visible armed presence while adhering to all applicable laws, licensing requirements, and company procedures. Work weekend overnight shifts from 10:00 PM to 07:00 AM.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
- Valid driver's license
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- An armed guard card or license
