Armed Security Officer

Armed Security Officer position focusing on safeguarding premises, assets, staff and visitors. Responsibilities include patrolling, remaining vigilant, enforcing policies, writing activity and incident reports, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency responders, and assisting the Asset Protection team to prevent theft. Requires strong customer service, professional demeanor, ability to evaluate situations calmly, and effective communication. Shift options include Day, Afternoon, and Evening; roles are Full-Time and Part-Time with travel between multiple locations in the district. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and prior security or law enforcement experience; BSIS Power to Arrest training is preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
