Armed Security Officer Retail - Uvalde Rd.

Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, in accordance with applicable laws and site procedures. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance when needed. Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards, helping to deter theft, trespassing, and other prohibited activity. Complete required reports and maintain accurate documentation of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations. This role requires a Level III Armed Certification in Texas, a valid driver's license, and either 3+ years of law enforcement/corrections/military experience or 5+ years of armed security experience. Applicants must be 21+ years of age and pass a background investigation and drug screen. The position offers a six-month fixed-shift commitment with an option to claim additional shifts through the Smart Tools platform.
