Armed Security Officer Patrol Full Time

Conduct routine armed patrols of assigned buildings, housing areas, grounds, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity while maintaining a visible presence. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements. Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and individuals in custody by executing security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Monitor access points, verify authorization, report suspicious activity, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports. Operate assigned equipment in accordance with post orders and participate in industry-specific security training. This full-time driving position at a government corrections location in Windsor, NC, requires a valid driver's license, armed guard card preference, and at least 6 months of armed security experience. Pay is $21.50/hour with a day shift from 5:45 AM to 6:00 PM.
