Job Summary
Armed Security Officer (Part-Time) sought to provide physical security, inspections and entry access control at designated locations for SENTRYSIX International. Responsibilities include internal guard services (vehicle/personnel entry control points, roving patrols, armed escort), exceptional customer service to guests, residents, employees and contractors, security for special events, roving mobile patrols, screening at entry points, protecting equipment and personnel, maintaining weapons qualification and proficiency with both assigned weapons and non-lethal tools, and performing duties in potentially austere conditions up to 12 hours. Requires US citizenship or eligible employment, valid driver’s license, 21+ years old, minimum three years in military/corrections/security/Law Enforcement, ability to obtain Montana security licensing, clean background, honorable discharge if applicable, and adherence to protective gear requirements. Location: Bozeman, MT; Compensation: $25/hr; Shifts: various; in-person remote option with contingent factors noted.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen or Eligible for Employment in the United States
- Must have a valid US Driver’s License
- A minimum of 21 years old.
- Must have a minimum of Three years verifiable experience in U.S. Military, corrections, security and/or Law Enforcement.
- Must be able to obtain required security licensing in Montana
- Must have clean criminal history and able to pass a pre-employment background investigation
- Honorable discharge from the military (if applicable)
- Employment with SENTRYSIX is contingent upon a favorable background investigation
- Able to don all required personal protective gear.
- Qualify and maintain proficiency with all assigned weapons.
