Job Summary
Conduct regular armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations by notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities per site procedures. Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff while monitoring access points for contractors and staff in accordance with established policies. Maintain a professional armed presence following all applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal procedures. Work part-time shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Fridays and Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Possess a valid driver's license
