Job Summary
Conduct armed patrols throughout retail locations, parking areas, and perimeters to deter theft and unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, and disturbances while providing customer service to visitors and team members. Observe and report suspicious behavior, shoplifting, and property damage in accordance with established procedures. Maintain Level III Armed Certification, manage assigned equipment, and complete daily incident reports and patrol documentation. Requires a valid driver's license, active armed guard card, and either three years of law enforcement experience or five years of armed security experience. Includes a background investigation and drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- 21+ Years of Age
- Active Armed Guard Card/License
- Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements
- 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Corrections/Military OR 5+ Years Armed Security Experience
- Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience
- Be at least 21 years of age
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
