Job Summary
Security Services Northwest, Inc. is seeking an Armed Security Officer responsible for preventing theft, conducting patrols, and ensuring safety. Requires high school diploma, valid driver's license, and ability to work non-traditional hours. Compensation at $30/hour post-training.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have a clean criminal record and driving record
- Must be able to obtain a Washington State Unarmed Security Guard License
- Must be able to react appropriately in high-stress situations
- Able to work non-traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation (must own your own car)
- Honesty and integrity
Desired Qualifications
- 2-4 years of combined experience (Military, Law Enforcement, and/or Security) preferred
- Access to a smartphone with access to apps for scheduling, clocking in/out, and reporting
- Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) card (or plans on obtaining one)
- Prior public safety and/or military experience preferred
- Knowledge of security protocols and equipment
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to conduct regular walking foot patrols
- Able to stand 8-12 hours a day
