Job Summary
Conduct armed post duties, perform regular patrols, and monitor entrances for unauthorized activity at the Justice Building in Las Vegas. Respond to incidents and disturbances by documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership or emergency personnel. Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and visitors while carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities. Maintain a professional presence in a customer-focused environment and participate in industry-specific security training programs. This part-time role requires a six-month commitment to fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform. Applicants must possess an armed guard card, at least three years of relevant experience, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or Armed security experience
- Possess an armed guard card or license
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
