Job Summary
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Maintain a valid New York State firearm permit or active law enforcement status within the state. Participate in industry-specific security and safety training programs. Requires a high school diploma or five years of verifiable experience, a valid driver's license, and completion of a background investigation and drug screen. Full-time, weekly pay at $33.70 per hour with flexible Monday through Sunday schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates should be Retired and/or Active Law Enforcement within the State of New York
- Candidates should posses valid New York State Firearm permit unless active Law Enforcment in the State of New York
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
