Armed Security Officer

Patrol and monitor buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry while enforcing access control policies. Secure doors, regulate pedestrian and vehicular traffic, and activate or deactivate alarms as required. Operate and maintain facility vehicles and security equipment in accordance with manufacturers' guidelines and regulatory compliance. Write incident reports to document events, check package contents, and report fire hazards or safety violations. Escort hospital personnel and assist in investigations of visitors, patients, and employees, carrying a firearm as directed. Requires NYS Armed Security Guard license, pistol permit, and three years of relevant experience or active police certification.
