Job Summary
Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, exterior areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity or policy violations according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders as needed. Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Work part-time hours with a six-month commitment to an anchor shift, with the option to pick up additional shifts through the Claim-A-Shift program to increase earnings.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience
- Possess an armed guard card or license
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Possess a valid driver's license
