Armed Security Officer Driving Patrol

Conduct routine armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner while maintaining a visible presence to safeguard government corrections clients. Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Monitor restricted area access, verify authorization, and document visitor activity and incidents according to established site procedures. Work a rotating day shift schedule from 5:45 PM to 6:00 AM.
