Job Summary
The Armed Security Officer is responsible for creating a safe and secure environment, protecting premises, assets, and employees, and preventing illegal activities. Responsibilities include patrolling the premises, monitoring entrances and exits, removing trespassers, monitoring surveillance cameras, responding to suspicious activity, and reporting daily activities and security incidents. Ideal candidates should possess strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of public safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is preferred
- Valid registration as a security officer
- High school diploma/GED
- Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures
- Excellent written communication skills and report-writing ability
- Ability to operate surveillance equipment
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision
