Conduct routine armed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, entrances, perimeters, and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points for unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, and prohibited items, then prepare clear reports of observations and communicate relevant information to supervisors and emergency responders. Work rotating day and night shifts in Brooklyn, NY, requiring a valid concealed carry permit, armed guard license, law enforcement officer license, and high school diploma.
Required Qualifications
- Valid concealed carry weapons permit
- Valid armed guard card or license
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client
- Valid law enforcement officer license
- At least 21 years of age for armed roles
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Valid driver's license
