Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas, including conducting regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity by documenting observations and communicating with site contacts or emergency personnel. Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors while verifying credentials at entry and exit points to support access control measures. Maintain a visible presence following post orders and handling sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion. Work a day shift from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Sunday, with a requirement for an active DoD Secret Clearance and Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
Required Qualifications
- 2 or more years of security-related experience
- 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree
- active DoD Secret Clearance
- at least 21 years of age
- valid driver's license
- Level III Armed Certification in Texas only
- high school diploma or equivalent
- subject to a background investigation
- subject to a drug screen
