Job Summary
Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information. Greet guests and employees while escorting visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points. Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms, acting as a first responder in emergency situations. Report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to the client and other security personnel. Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders with professionalism to safeguard personnel, property, and information.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance
- Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site
- Prior military experience
- Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state)
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
Desired Qualifications
- Prior law enforcement or armed security experience
- Associate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
