Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned transit areas including stations, platforms, parking, and perimeters to deter incidents and ensure safety. Respond to disturbances, suspicious activity, and medical emergencies while managing crowds during peak travel periods. Provide customer service to passengers and employees by enforcing security procedures and reporting hazards or policy violations. Prepare accurate activity and incident reports while maintaining communication with supervisors and law enforcement partners.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree
- Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent
- 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or license
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
