Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas at Denver transit facilities, including stations, platforms, and parking zones, while maintaining a visible presence to deter security incidents. Respond to disturbances, suspicious activity, medical emergencies, and critical situations by following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Provide customer service to passengers and visitors through exceptional communication while representing company values with integrity. Conduct regular armed patrols of vehicle access points and administrative areas, assist with crowd management during peak travel periods, and report observed hazards. Prepare accurate activity and incident reports, maintaining clear communication with supervisors and law enforcement partners.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree
- Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent
- 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or license
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
