Job Summary
Provide customer service to visitors, staff, clergy, and contractors by executing security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the cultural institution's interior, entrances, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying credentials, managing entry per site procedures, and reporting unusual or unauthorized incidents. Respond to alarms, medical events, and critical situations following established protocols while maintaining accurate activity logs and incident reports. This fixed-shift commitment requires a six-month anchor at an assigned site in New York, with an option to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform. Applicants must hold an Armed Guard Card, be at least 21 years old, and possess a high school diploma.
Required Qualifications
- Armed Guard Card or License
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
