Armed Security Officer

Job Summary
Proactively monitor for and respond quickly to security threats, incidents, and hazards while conducting foot and vehicle patrols. Perform traffic and parking enforcement, manage facility vehicles with safe driving practices, and report equipment malfunctions. Conduct investigations, meticulously document incidents, and assist in training staff on emergency management procedures. Act as a resource providing information to staff and visitors to promote overall safety. Requires a Class D or Armed Security License, valid driver's license, and ability to read, write, and type incident reports. Evening shift from 3 P.M. to 11:30 P.M. at Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital in Panama City, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Class D (Unarmed Security License) issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture
- Class G License (Armed Security License) issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience
- Ability to effectively read, write and type incident reports
- Evening Shift
