Job Summary
Conduct routine armed patrols of business sites, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by communicating with site contacts and public emergency services while maintaining a visible presence. Provide customer service to clients and visitors while verifying visitor authorization, monitoring access points, and reporting suspicious activity or policy violations. Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with laws, licensing requirements, and site procedures. Perform these duties during afternoon shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM at financial institution locations in Wilson, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Have at least two years of security-related experience
- Have at least three years of experience as a military police officer, corrections officer, or armed security professional, or be a certified law enforcement graduate
- Be at least 21 years of age
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
