Job Summary
Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive information. Provide high-quality security services by safeguarding personnel, property, and data while enforcing rules and acting as a visible deterrent to crime. Greet guests and employees, escort visitors, secure ingress and egress points, and respond to security alarms or emergencies as a first responder. Maintain proficiency in assigned protective equipment, restraint devices, and weapons. Report safety concerns, breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and verbal communication, interacting with clients and other security personnel as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Military/Security Experience OR a College Degree
- DD214 with Honorable Discharge OR Associates Degree/60 College Credits OR Police Academy Certificate OR Corrections Academy Certificate
- Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent
- Security Experience - 5+ Years
- High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of law enforcement, military, or private armed security experience
- Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state)
- Excellent communication skills; able to articulate and write clear and concise incident or situation reports
- Able to complete all range qualifications and functions
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
