Job Summary
Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to safeguard personnel, property, and sensitive information. Enforce rules and regulations while acting as a visible deterrent to crime and client infractions. Greet guests and employees, escort visitors, secure ingress and egress points, and maintain proficiency in protective equipment and weapons. Respond to security alarms, assess emergencies, and provide first aid as necessary. Report safety concerns, breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and verbal communication to clients and other security personnel.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of law enforcement, military, or private armed security experience
- Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state)
- Excellent communication skills; able to articulate and write clear and concise incident or situation reports
- Able to complete all range qualifications and functions
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
