Job Summary
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned properties while maintaining a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor and report security concerns, hazards, and unusual occurrences, then respond appropriately to incidents following established procedures. Document nightly activities, complete required reports, and investigate potential breaches of property. Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while working independently or supporting the security team. Operate a motor vehicle when required by the assignment and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Work the 2nd or 3rd shift in a full-time role, reporting to the Field Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Able to successfully complete the company's pre-employment screening process
- Eligible to obtain and maintain any security license required for the position
- Able to provide reliable transportation to and from the assigned location
- Comfortable using a cellphone for work-related communication
- Comfortable with the physical activities associated with the position, which may include: Standing, walking, sitting, running, and climbing as needed
- Reading and documenting information accurately
- Communicating clearly during routine operations and emergency situations
- Remaining alert and responding appropriately to changing circumstances
- Detecting and identifying relevant sounds, alarms, or emergency conditions
- Lifting up to 50 pounds when required by the assignment
- Operating a motor vehicle when required by the assigned post
- 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift
