Job Summary
Conduct armed security patrols and transportation escorts for multiple premises while preventing and deterring crime. Report security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences; perform control procedures when necessary; operate emergency equipment; document nightly operations; and file weekly reports. Investigate breaches of property. Maintain a clean driving record and own firearm as required. This role reports to the Branch Manager. Full and Part-Time positions available. Required Qualifications
- 25+ years of age
- ARMED Security License
- Own firearm
- Clean driving record
- Clean criminal background
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and quickly in cases of emergency
- Ability to read and interpret written information under a variety of circumstances
- Ability to drive a motor vehicle in the course of his/her duties if required
- Ability to detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress against distracting sound background conditions
- Ability to Walk, Run, Stand, Climb, Sit
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. waist high, if required
- Physical and mental requirements of the state(s) to be licensed by the state to perform Security Guard / Security Officer work
- Ability to obtain the status of license required for the position, either Armed or Unarmed
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Sound communication skills
- Professional presentation
- Ability to work as a team member and solo
