Job Summary
Drive assigned security-detail personnel and/or clients safely between scheduled locations while conducting mobile patrols and maintaining situational awareness. Protect people, property, and sensitive information in accordance with company procedures and applicable law. Observe, document, and promptly report incidents, hazards, and suspicious activity. Prepare accurate activity, incident, and vehicle reports. Communicate professionally with clients, team members, law enforcement, and the public. Maintain assigned equipment and comply with all firearm-handling, safety, and licensing requirements. Perform other security-related duties consistent with the position. This role reports to the Branch Manager. Benefits include medical, life, dental, and vision insurance, plus paid leave.
Required Qualifications
- Current California BSIS Guard Registration
- Current California BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit
- Valid California driver's license and an acceptable driving record, where required to operate the assigned vehicle
- Ability to work assigned shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prepare clear, accurate reports
- Ability to perform the essential job duties, including operating a motor vehicle as part of the security detail
- Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
