Job Summary
Conduct armed transportation escorts and perform regular patrols of multiple premises to prevent and deter crime. Report security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences; perform control procedures when necessary; operate emergency equipment; and document nightly operations while filing weekly reports. Investigate breaches of property and maintain a clean driving record. Must possess an armed security license, own a firearm, and hold a clean criminal background. Requires age 25+, excellent customer service skills, and ability to work solo or as a team member. Full-time and part-time positions available in El Paso, TX, with weekly or daily pay options.
Required Qualifications
- 25+ years of age
- ARMED Security License
- Own firearm
- Clean driving record
- Clean criminal background
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and quickly in cases of emergency
- Ability to read and interpret written information under a variety of circumstances
- Ability to drive a motor vehicle in the course of his/her duties if required
- Ability to detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress against distracting sound background conditions
- Ability to Walk, Run, Stand, Climb, Sit
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. waist high, if required
- Meet the physical and mental requirements of the state(s) to be licensed by the state to perform Security Guard / Security Officer work
- Must be able to obtain the status of license required for the position, either Armed or Unarmed
