Job Summary
Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas on foot and in vehicles to safeguard premises, assets, and personnel. Monitor surveillance equipment and alarms to detect suspicious activity, while enforcing security procedures including access control and visitor screening. Respond assertively to breaches, handle emergencies such as medical incidents or fires, and safely carry firearms only as a last resort. Document all incidents in detailed reports and coordinate with law enforcement when necessary. Maintain a professional demeanor with clients and employees while adhering to strict ethical standards. Requires Guard Card, firearms proficiency, and physical fitness. Weekly pay and health insurance provided.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Guard Card and Exposed Firearms permit
- Must possess a current valid Driver's License
- Must have completed firearms training courses
- Must be able to pass regular proficiency assessments
- Must be in good physical condition
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Must have a high level of integrity and ethical conduct
- Must adhere to professional standards of conduct
- Must uphold confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information
Desired Qualifications
- Must have military service background
- Must have prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security-related field
- Must have additional certifications or training in first aid, CPR, or emergency response
- Must have knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and procedures governing armed security operations
- Must have demonstrated proficiency in the safe handling and use of firearms
- Must have Level 3A Body Armor (optional)
- Must have Level 3 Holster
- Must have Duty Belt
- Must have Handcuffs
- Must have 2 out of the 3 Nonlethals: Baton, OC Spray, and/or Taser and their certifications
