Job Summary
Provide security services at assigned client sites, conducting regular patrols and monitoring surveillance equipment to ensure the safety of personnel, premises, and assets. Accurately document incidents, security breaches, or irregularities, and promptly report them to appropriate personnel while maintaining professionalism in all interactions with clients, visitors, and staff. Be available to work various shifts and locations as needed, including on-call or emergency coverage when required. Valid firearms license, active PERC and FOID card, and ability to stand or patrol for extended periods are essential. This role supports Silver Star Protection Group's diverse client base in industries ranging from cannabis to data centers.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid firearms license or certification required
- Active PERC and FOID card required
- Must own a firearm with a level 2 retention holster or higher
- Strong situational awareness and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
- Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods
- Capability to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies
- Flexibility is required to work additional shifts, including on-call or emergency coverage when needed
- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Previous armed security or related experience preferred
