Job Summary
Monitor property activity, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents while maintaining firearms proficiency and adhering to all safety/legal standards. Apply de-escalation techniques in challenging situations, write clear incident reports, and communicate effectively with clients, the public, and supervisors using available technology. Represent the company with professionalism and integrity across diverse environments including schools, critical infrastructure, and commercial properties. Full and part-time shifts require consistent, dependable attendance under a zero-tolerance policy, with on-call rotation around the clock.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screening
- Reliable personal transportation (public transit/rideshare not permitted for firearm transport)
- Able to safely use, maintain, operate, and manipulate a firearm, handcuffs, and other issued gear
- Able to wear a duty belt and exterior tactical vest (position-specific) for the duration of assigned shifts
- Able to stand or walk for up to 8-12 hours at a time
- Able to get in and out of a vehicle frequently throughout the shift (position-specific)
- Able to pass the company's basic hand-to-hand defensive skills course
- Strong communication and situational awareness
- CPR certified (or willing to complete provided training)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Previous armed security experience preferred
- Military or law enforcement background strongly encouraged
