Job Summary
Conduct regular patrols to maintain site security and safety while actively enforcing rules, regulations, and procedures. Respond to emergency situations, monitor closed-circuit television for issues, and engage with the public to offer assistance and directions. Maintain a physical presence as a visible deterrent, prevent unauthorized access, and keep accurate logs with detailed incident reports. Provide superior customer care to enhance the facility's atmosphere. Requires a Level II Security Certificate through TOPS, age 21 or older, valid armed license, and high school diploma. Hourly rate $25.00.
Required Qualifications
- Level II Security Certificate through TOPS prior to applying
- Over the age of 21 years of age when applying
- Willing to earn a Level III Security Certificate once working for PalAmerican
- If already a Level III Security License, no additional Security License is needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of related experience
- Active Armed Security license
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be 21 years old
- Must have valid armed license where required
- Strong commitment to the well-being of others
- Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in using computer systems and applications
- Foot patrol and ability to lift up to 15 pounds
- Must stay alert at all times
