Job Summary
Security Guard role entails performing fixed-post, mobile or foot patrols, maintaining situational awareness, and adhering to established post orders and protocols. Responsibilities include monitoring alarms and communication, reporting incidents, conducting patrols, ensuring security of property, coordinating with law enforcement, and maintaining logs. A high school diploma or equivalent is required along with 2 years of relevant experience. Candidates must possess a state-issued guard card and demonstrate strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of security/civilian law enforcement experience or equivalent position with the United States Armed Forces
- Must be fluent in speaking and writing in English
- Must be able to pass criminal background screen, drug test and physical exam
- Applicants must have a state-issued guard card before being hired
Desired Qualifications
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
- Prior experience with the Glock platform is preferred.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills is preferred
Additional Requirements
- Access to government facilities/installations is a mandatory requirement
