Job Summary
Conduct regular patrols of the bank premises to detect suspicious activities, monitor surveillance equipment, and control entry/exit points while verifying identification. Respond promptly to alarms, theft, or disturbances by coordinating with law enforcement and documenting all incidents in detailed reports using Belfry. Assist customers and employees to ensure a safe environment and maintain operational firearms, cameras, and alarm systems. Stay current with security protocols, laws, and policies through ongoing training and collaborate with management and local law enforcement. Work Monday through Saturday from 08:15A to 5:45P, earning $23.50 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum age of 21
- Minimum of 2 years in security, law enforcement or military experience
- Valid firearms permit and ability to carry a firearm
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in English written or oral form
- Ability to speak and comprehend English without translation
- Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor in high-stress situations
- Discretion in handling sensitive information
- Neat, well-groomed and professional appearance
- Ability to stand and walk up to 8-hours
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
