Job Summary
Provide customer service to government employees, visitors, and the public by executing security procedures, site policies, and emergency responses. Perform armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations professionally, requesting law enforcement assistance as needed. Monitor access points, verify credentials, and address unauthorized entry per established procedures. Document patrol activity, incidents, and hazards through clear reports, communicating significant concerns to designated personnel. Commit to a six-month fixed shift at an assigned site with the option to claim additional shifts via our scheduling platform. Requires one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience, a valid driver's license, and a background investigation.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
- Fixed-Shift Commitment ('Anchor Shifts'): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment
