Job Summary
Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises, conducting regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, and enforcing site-specific policies. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while providing customer service to employees and visitors. Ensure order is preserved by addressing personnel and visitor concerns at the Loves Travel Center location in Dayton, OH. This role requires at least two years of armed security experience and OPOTA certification, with a mandatory background investigation and drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- Must have OPOTA Certification
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Personal Firearm required (9mm, .45 caliber) (must be semi-auto)
- Must have at least 2 years of Armed Security experience
- Must be 21+ years of age for Armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience (experience required only for Armed Roles)
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions
