Job Summary
Provide customer service to visitors, staff, clergy, and program participants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a cultural institution. Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, entrances, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor management during worship services, cultural programs, special events, and daily operations. Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Required Qualifications
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or License
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
