Job Summary
Armed Security Officer responsible for protecting facilities and assets for government and commercial clients as part of a highly trained security team. The role includes firearms handling and marksmanship under the guidance of qualified instructors, adherence to POST or equivalent federal/state training requirements, and completion of mandatory background checks and drug screening. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of (3) years of prior peace officer experience from a Federal, state, county, or local law enforcement agency
- Completion of Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) academy, OR completion of a Federal state, county, or local law enforcement training academy with a verifiable certificate or transcript
- Valid California State Guard card
- Exposed Firearm Permit
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Baton certification
- Demonstrate ability to read, write and converse clearly in English
- Satisfactory completion of initial drug test and criminal background check
