Job Summary
Armed Mobile Security Officer responsible for the security and safety of the client's property and personnel. Will follow site-specific policies and procedures, be attentive and alert, record and report incidents, participate in the client's emergency response procedures as appropriate, and provide superior customer service. The role requires a valid driver's license, completion of background checks and drug screen, an armed security license per state requirements, and effective communication skills to interact with customers, clients, and visitors. Must be able to operate technology and handle crisis situations, deescalate effectively, and work in varying environments including weather changes. Physical tasks include lifting up to 40 pounds and navigating stairs or ladders as needed. The employer emphasizes veteran support and full-time employment with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to pass a company background check.
- Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment and to interact with customers, clients, and visitors of all categories.
- Must maintain a valid Armed Security License which is required by the state you are applying for.
- As a condition of employment, the employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Basic computer skills to operate innovative technology.
- Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and effectively.
- Ability to deescalate situations and clearly operate within and articulate the Use of Force Continuum.
- Able to: Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
- Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift.
- Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.
