Armed Level III Security Officer at Municipal Courts

Enforce courthouse entry procedures by operating screening equipment to detect weapons and contraband. Patrol facilities and grounds to deter unauthorized activity while maintaining stationary posts at courtrooms, chambers, and jury rooms. Provide armed escorts for judges, court personnel, and jurors; oversee pedestrian and parking control to ensure orderly traffic. Enforce law and order by detaining threats, support courtroom operations by maintaining order and assisting with documents, and conduct pre/post proceedings security checks. Prepare accurate reports documenting incidents, inspections, and security breaches. Maintain a visible, professional presence to promote a secure environment for all occupants. Shifts include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays across Texas courthouse locations.
