Job Summary
Conduct armed security patrols on foot to maintain facility visibility and deter theft and vandalism while investigating safety conditions that endanger clients or the public. Ensure daily administrative documentation remains concise and complete, adhering to uniform attire and grooming standards. Maintain a safe and professional work environment for all facility personnel. This full-time role requires a valid Driver's License, an active Armed Guard Card, and a duty firearm with holster and body armor. Candidates must pass a DMV background check, 10-panel drug screening, and vaccinations including MMR, Hepatitis B, and influenza. Work Monday through Friday from 2200 to 0600 with daily pay. Cascadia Global Security offers medical, dental, vision, and 401k benefits after 60 days.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- An active Armed Guard Card
- Basic computer skills
- report-writing experience
- Available to work morning, swing shift or nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies
- Candidate should already have a duty firearm
- Candidate should already have a holster
- Candidate should already have an external carrier
- Candidate should already have body armor
- Immunization Records
- MMR(2 doses or evidence of immunity)
- Varicella (2 doses, evidence of immunity or disease)
- Hepatitis B Vaccine ( 3 doses or evidence of immunity)
- Fit Test/ Questionnaire (3m N95 1870= mask only)
- Tdap ( 1 dose as an adult or child)
- T- Spot or QFT
- Influenza Vaccine (applicable Sep. to March)
- Pre-Employment Drug Screen (10-panel- results or attestation letter)
- COVID-19 vaccine documentation if you have had the vaccine and/or boosters
- Driver's License
- Active Armed Texas security guard license
