Job Summary
Monitor and patrol designated premises to deter unauthorized access while conducting thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to identify potential threats. Respond promptly to incidents and alarms, enforcing access control procedures by verifying identification for all personnel. Apply conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense situations and perform first aid or CPR when needed. Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records accurately. This full-time, paid position involves rotating shifts including weekends, with no travel required. Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields with a strong understanding of security protocols
- Valid certification in first aid and CPR
- Demonstrated ability to handle conflict situations calmly and effectively through conflict management skills
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to protect assets from theft or vandalism
- Familiarity with security technology including CCTV systems and access control devices
- Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and surveillance activities
- Ability to stand, walk, or remain alert for extended periods while maintaining focus on safety procedures
- 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift, Weekends
Desired Qualifications
