Job Summary
Provide customer service to clients by enforcing site-specific safety policies and responding to incidents with a calm, problem-solving approach. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter while monitoring for security breaches. Participate in industry-specific security and safety training programs to maintain operational readiness. This full-time role includes a Monday through Friday morning shift schedule at a government building in Long Beach, California. Candidates must possess a current Guard Card, Firearm Permit, and valid driver's license, along with at least one year of recent security or law enforcement experience.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of security experience within the last 3 years
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Guard Card
- Firearm Permit
- Any other licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws
- Valid driver's license
- Must successfully complete a background investigation
- Must successfully complete a drug screen
