Job Summary
Armed Driver Guard position with Loomis involves driving automatic armored vehicles on designated routes to service customer locations, including ATM/Smart Safe servicing, delivering/change orders, and loading/unloading cargo. The role requires eligibility for a Medical Examiner's Certificate, a valid firearms permit, and successful completion of an HPE assessment that includes lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, and climbing tasks. Full-time schedule typically 40–50 hours per week with some weekend work; benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and extensive training. Located in Arden, NC with in-person work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- At least a 3 year driving record
- Ability to obtain Medical Examiners Certificate via US Department of Transportation approved medical examiners
- A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms requirements per the state to which you are applying
- Loomis will pay for security and firearms qualifications, licensing and permitting
- Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) with testing in lift, lift-carry, push-pull, repetitive coupling, and climb fitness areas
